Recipes

Recipes:

Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Crock Pot recipe


1 3lb Pork Roast
1 container BBQ sauce (flavor of choice, I prefer Kraft Brown Sugar)
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 Tablespoons cider vinegar
Kaiser rolls
salt and pepper to taste


Mix all ingredients together in crock pot, add pork and cook on LOW for 4-6hours. After 4 hours take a fork and pull tender pork apart until shredded completely. Pile pork onto kaiser rolls and enjoy! Great sides are mashed potatoes or mac and cheese



Broccoli Rice and Chicken
Crock Pot recipe

2lbs Chicken breasts cut into strips
1 1/4 cups uncooked rice
1 package Knorr cream of broccoli soup mix
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste

Place rice in lightly greased crock pot, sprinkle with salt and pepper (parsley also gives a nice flavor)
Top with Chick strips
 In a seperate bowl mix together soup mix and broth, pour over chicken and rice
Cook for 6-8 hours on low.

Also great topped with shredded cheddar cheese!


Beefy Mac and Cheese
Crock Pot recipe

1 1/2lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pack cheese sauce mix (from mac and cheese box)
1/4 cup of water
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can stewed tomatoes (optional for picky eaters!)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz macaroni, cooked until tender (cook at end of recipe)


Brown beef and onions.
Place beef, cheese sauce packet, water, soup, tomatoes and tomato paste into the crock pot.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours
Add  cooked, heated macaroni and cheddar cheese and cook for an additional 30 mins until all cheese is melted.
Great with green beans!


Beef Stew
Crock Pot recipe
GREAT for those chilly nights!

2 1/2 lbs of beef stew meat (cubed)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (also great with bacon grease)
1 can tomato soup
2 cups chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced celery
5 large potatoes cubed
5 carrots cut into slices
1/4 tablespoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Brown beef cubes in oil (or bacon grease)
Add onions and celery, cook until tender
Mix all ingredients into crock pot
Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours
Add water if necessary

Great with butter rolls or flaky bread



Italian Chicken Bake
Crock Pot recipe


2lbs Boneless chicken breasts cubed
1 packet French's Italian Spagetti Sauce (dry)
1 garlic clove finaly chopped
1 can diced tomatoes
8oz can tomato sauce
Parmesan cheese
8oz pasta

Place chicken and garlic in crock pot
Sprinkle dry sauce mix over top
Add can of tomatoes and sauce
Cook on low for 8hours stirring occasionally

Serve with cooked pasta and sprinkled Parmesan cheese
